RedotPay charges no ongoing subscription just for holding a card. All costs come down to three questions: how you loaded the card, what currency you spent in, and whether you withdrew from an ATM. This page works through each fee type with numbers drawn directly from RedotPay’s official Help Center.
How much does a RedotPay card cost to get?
There are two card types. The virtual card is issued immediately at US$10. The physical card costs US$100 and is mailed to your address. Neither carries an annual fee or monthly maintenance charge after issuance.
| Card type | Issuance fee | Annual fee | Source |
|---|---|---|---|
| Virtual card | US$10 | US$0 | Help Center 10566200, checked 2026-11-07 |
| Physical card | US$100 | US$0 | Help Center 10566233, checked 2026-11-07 |
New accounts receive a welcome reward of US$5 in spending credit, valid for 30 days. This credit can be used only for purchases — it cannot be applied toward the issuance fee itself. (Help Center 10566200, checked 2026-11-07)

What are RedotPay’s transaction fees?
Every time you top up with crypto, RedotPay deducts a 1% conversion fee to convert the crypto asset into the card’s fiat currency. After that, the fee you pay at the point of purchase depends entirely on whether the merchant charges in your card’s denomination.
| Fee type | Rate | When it applies | Source |
|---|---|---|---|
| Crypto-to-card conversion | 1% | Each top-up from a crypto asset | Help Center 10622095, checked 2026-11-07 |
| Spend in card’s currency | 0% | Transaction currency matches card denomination | Help Center 10622095, checked 2026-11-07 |
| Spend in another currency | 1.2% | Transaction currency differs from card denomination | Help Center 10622095, checked 2026-11-07 |
These two fees are independent. If you load US$300 of USDT onto a USD card and then spend in euros, you pay the 1% conversion on the top-up and the 1.2% FX fee at the point of purchase. See the worked examples below for the full breakdown.
What are the ATM fees?
ATM fees depend on your card’s currency and how much you have withdrawn in the current calendar month.
| Card currency | Monthly withdrawal | Fee rate | Source |
|---|---|---|---|
| USD card | Up to US$10,000 | 2% | Help Center 10622095, checked 2026-11-07 |
| USD card | Portion above US$10,000 | 3% | Help Center 10622095, checked 2026-11-07 |
| HKD card | All withdrawals | 2% | Help Center 10622095, checked 2026-11-07 |
These are RedotPay’s own withdrawal fees. Some ATM operators add a surcharge of their own on top — RedotPay does not publish this figure; check the machine’s screen before confirming the transaction. For per-transaction and daily withdrawal limits, RedotPay does not publish those figures in its public Help Center; check the app for the current schedule.
Pro Annual members can withdraw up to US$1,000 per month from ATMs with no RedotPay fee. See the Pro section below for the break-even analysis. For the full ATM fee guide, see the RedotPay ATM withdrawal page.
Which transactions attract a specific merchant fee?
Certain merchants — the full list is published in RedotPay’s Help Center — trigger an additional fee of 1.5% of the transaction amount, with a minimum charge of US$0.50 per transaction. (Help Center 10339275, checked 2026-11-07)
The first three eligible transactions per card each calendar month are waived automatically; the counter resets at 00:00 UTC on the first of each month. If you use the card at these merchants only occasionally, you will likely stay within the monthly free allowance.
How much does RedotPay Pro cost, and when does it pay off?
RedotPay Pro is an optional paid tier with two billing cycles. The monthly plan costs US$12.90/month; the annual plan costs US$129/year (equivalent to US$10.75/month). All membership fees are non-refundable. (Help Center 14686020, checked 2026-11-07)
| Benefit | Pro Monthly (US$12.90/mo) | Pro Annual (US$129/yr) |
|---|---|---|
| Card issuance fee waived (one-time) | Virtual card US$10 | Physical card US$100 |
| Cashback on Apple Pay & Google Pay | 3%, up to US$18/month | 3%, up to US$18/month |
| ATM zero-fee allowance | — | Up to US$1,000/month |
| Extra APY on RedotPay Earn | — | +1% APY |
Break-even for Pro Monthly (cashback only): US$12.90 ÷ 3% = US$430/month in Apple Pay or Google Pay spend. In month 1 the virtual card waiver (US$10) reduces the hurdle: effective net cost is US$12.90 − US$10.00 = US$2.90, which requires just US$2.90 ÷ 3% ≈ US$97 in Apple Pay spend to break even that month.
Break-even for Pro Annual (cashback only, no physical card): US$129 ÷ (3% × 12 months) ≈ US$358/month. At US$300/month Apple Pay spend, annual cashback is US$300 × 0.03 × 12 = US$108, leaving a net cost of US$129 − US$108 = US$21/year.
Break-even for Pro Annual (ATM benefit only): US$129 ÷ (2% × 12 months) ≈ US$538/month in ATM withdrawals. If you withdraw US$1,000/month, the annual fee saving is US$1,000 × 2% × 12 = US$240 — easily covering the US$129 annual fee, with US$111 to spare.
If you also plan to get a physical card, the one-time US$100 issuance waiver shifts the calculation sharply: net annual cost becomes US$129 − US$100 = US$29. At US$300/month Apple Pay spend, the cashback alone (US$108/year) covers both the remaining cost and then some.
Worked examples: what does a US$300 monthly spend actually cost?
The following examples use the rates from RedotPay’s official Help Center (article 10622095, checked 2026-11-07). All amounts assume a USD-denomination card.
| Scenario | Calculation | Total fees on US$300 |
|---|---|---|
| Standard — spend in card’s currency (USD) | Crypto conversion: US$300 × 1% = US$3.00 | FX fee: US$300 × 0% = US$0.00 | US$3.00 (1.0%) |
| Standard — spend in another currency (e.g. EUR) | Crypto conversion: US$300 × 1% = US$3.00 | FX fee: US$300 × 1.2% = US$3.60 | US$6.60 (2.2%) |
| Standard — ATM withdrawal of US$300 | ATM fee: US$300 × 2% = US$6.00 (within US$10,000/month threshold) | US$6.00 (2.0%) |
| Pro Annual — US$300 Apple Pay spend | Cashback earned: US$300 × 3% = US$9.00 | Amortised Pro cost: US$129 ÷ 12 = US$10.75 | Net monthly cost: US$10.75 − US$9.00 = US$1.75 | Net US$1.75/month (US$21/year) |
| Pro Annual — US$300 ATM withdrawal | Standard fee avoided: US$300 × 2% = US$6.00 (within US$1,000/month free allowance) | Amortised Pro cost: US$10.75 | Net monthly cost: US$10.75 − US$6.00 = US$4.75 | Net US$4.75/month (US$57/year) |
These calculations apply only RedotPay’s published fee rates. ATM operator surcharges, potential specific merchant fees, and third-party payment processor fees are not included.
